Africa Investment Forum 2025: Mrs. Nezha Hayat Unveils the Catalytic Role of the Mohammed VI Investment Fund
The General Director of the Mohammed VI Investment Fund, Mrs. Nezha Hayat, took part today in the plenary session of the Africa Investment Forum (AIF) 2025, an event that has now become essential, held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him.
On this occasion, Mrs. Nezha Hayat delivered a keynote speech during the high-level panel titled "The Missing Links: Unlocking the Path to Scalable Private Investment in Africa":
In her address, Mrs. Hayat highlighted:
- The catalytic role of the Mohammed VI Investment Fund in the Kingdom's new investment architecture, in accordance with the High Guidelines of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him;
- The national ambition to enhance the private sector's contribution to productive investment;
- The Fund's concrete results, including the deployment of thematic sub-funds, the multiplier effect exceeding 4x achieved on completed fundraising rounds, as well as new international investors entering the Moroccan market;
- The development of innovative financial tools, such as quasi-equity products aimed at supporting SME growth;
- The FM6I's direct involvement in preparing, structuring, and taking equity stakes in large-scale projects, enabling the acceleration of Public-Private Partnerships and supporting the execution of major infrastructure projects.
Mrs. Hayat also emphasized the importance of strengthening synergies between sovereign institutions, private investors, and multilateral partners to mobilize more capital for continental priorities.
Thus, the Mohammed VI Investment Fund reaffirms its commitment to supporting Morocco's structural transformation, accelerating productive investment, and contributing to the development of a robust, transparent, and attractive investment ecosystem.
